A: Yes. The house manager will be present to greet you upon your arrival. He will provide you with the keys to Casa de Koehler, a walk-through of the home and surrounding property, and answer any questions you may have.

A: No. Casa de Koehler bookings are always exclusive. Your confirmed reservation guarantees a private stay for you and your party.

Q: Is it safe to drink the tap water at Casa de Koehler?

A: Casa de Koehler's tap water is filtered and considered safe to drink, but for your peace of mind, we keep the villa stocked with bottled drinking water at all times.

Q: Is there a general store within walking distance of Casa de Koehler?

A: Yes, there is a small mercado offering basic groceries as well as a liquor store within a few minutes walk from the front door.

Q: Are there restaurants within walking distance of Casa de Koehler?

A: Yes, there are several nearby restaurants offering everything from traditional Mexican dishes to sushi. The sushi place even delivers!

Q: Is there a beach within walking distance of Casa de Koehler?

A: Yes. There is a small private beach at the water's edge of Villa Serena. Also, Missiones Beach (which includes the popular surf spot known as "Monuments") is less than a mile away.

Q: Are there any noise or activity restrictions I should be aware of?

A: Yes. Although we provide a private setting for the perfect Cabo San Lucas getaway, we are located in a peaceful residential community. We politely request that guests and visitors remain respectful of our neighbors during their stay, and refrain from excessive after-hours noise and overtly public adult activity while on the property and within the neighborhood of Villa Serena.

Q: Where are the closest safe swimming beaches to Casa de Koehler?

A: Medano Beach and Chilano Beach (both within 5 minutes of Casa de Koehler) offer very safe swimming. Chilano Beach is particularly popular for diving and snorkeling.

Q: Is it a good idea to rent a car during my stay?

A: Although car rentals are available, we highly recommend taking advantage of the local taxis during your stay. Area roads, signage and driving laws are not as advanced as they are in the U.S., so we feel it's best to leave the driving to the locals.

Q: Are public transportation services easy to come by?

A: Taxis and shuttles are readily available. A simple phone call to the nearby Villa Serena Restaurant (where the taxis congregate) will have a cab to the door in minutes.

Q: Is daily maid service included in the rental price of Casa de Koehler?

A: No, but it is available for a small additional fee.
